What Is An Electronic Cigarette?

Its a electronic device that you can smoke just like a cigarette ,without the tar!!  It looks like a cigarette ,produces vapour like a  traditional cigarette, it is

It gives you the nicotine “hit” that smokers crave for.

You hold it just like a cigarette and inhale it too.

The electronic cigarette also releases smoke (just harmless vapour, not real smoke!) when inhaled!

It’s a cigarette substitute, and is known to work just as an aid to help a smoker to quit smoking.It is NOT a substitute to the traditional electronic cigarette.

Can You Explain The Toxin Element?

THIS IS A FACT!   Electronic cigarettes contain only the nicotine which your body craves for and will satisfy the craving, However, as it has not yet been dicided by the GOVERMENT and the MRAH ,where it fits in the world.

We are not able to give 100% advice on where the actual electronic cigarette will sit in way of classification at this time.

Can I Really Smoke Anywhere?

Electronic cigarettes DO NOT produce passive smoke!  They produce a water  vapour.  So YES, you can use it in no smoking areas.  Users can puff on it in buses, cinemas, hospitals, hotels, restaurants and apartments that prohibit smoking. Please do remember that when others see you with an electronic cigarette between your fingers and lips it will attract attention. Especially as it looks just like a cigarette and the end will light up red and vapour is released, people will assume you are smoking a conventional cigarette. When the LED light flickers in the dark it will definitely make heads turn.

We would advise users to be considerate in some situations, for example, in cinemas the vapour will cause a viewing distraction to those behind you, so it is recommended you still act with caution and consideration to others.

It would be best to let individuals know that you're using e-cigarettes and politely ask their permission if it's okay to use it in their presence.

What Do I need To Get Started?

You need a starter Kit.

An Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit consists of

1.       A battery (The White piece)

2.       The cartridge (the brown bit) and

3.       An Atomiser (the metal bit between the cartridge and the battery which is usually hidden inside the cartridge).

4.       A charger to charge up the battery.  There are :

o   Wall chargers (plugged into a socket)

o   Car chargers (plugged into the cigarette lighter socket in your car) and...

o   USB chargers (plugs into a USB port on your computer or laptop)

Some kits will consist of just the USB charger, some will have just the wall charger and there are complete kits which consist of all three types of chargers.

How Does it Work?

The charger simply charges up the battery.

The battery holds the power (just like your mobile battery) and needs charging every so often. 

The cartridge holds the nicotine and is also the end which you inhale from.

The atomiser senses the “pull” from the smokers mouth and uses power from the battery to heat up the element (on the end of the atomiser) which in turn heats up the nicotine in the cartridge and turns it into smoke.

The smoke is inhaled by the user to intake the nicotine and then smoke is blown out just like your normal cigs.

What Else Do I Need To Know?

All components have a limited lifespan.  They will start to lose power after some use.  So you will need to replace components from time to time.

Battery Life – Our electronic cigarette batteries last from between 30 days to 90 days should you be a daily user using at 200 inhales per day.  However, some batteries are larger than others i.e. the cigar battery will last longer than the mini electronic cigarette battery. 

Atomisers Lifespan – We recommend the atomiser to be replaced at least every month.  As the atomiser does most of the hard work to deliver the nicotine, it is the most important element within your e-cig.  Again, lifespan will depend on your frequency of use.

Lifespan of Cartridges – Each of our cartridges have their own lifespan which is displayed on our cartridge page.  Some will last you a as little as a day, but others will be good for a couple of days depending on use. 

Cartridges will often need to be replaced daily.

It would be cost effective to purchase complete starter kits every couple of months rather than purchase spares as and when needed.

Will The E-Cig Really Help Me Stop Smoking

YES – BUT.... WILLPOWER IS REQUIRED!

If you use the electronic cigarettes to wean yourself of traditional cigarettes, then please do not assume it will be an easy transition.  You will feel cravings and the temptations to light up.  E-cigs can be used as an aid to give up smoking but you should not believe it makes for an immediate change.

Your will to give up is most important .
